Profile:
Taue debuted amidst much hype, teaming with the legendary Giant Baba in his first match. He was a very uneasy wrestler at first, but another legend, Jumbo Tsuruta, gave him advice. He became one of All Japan's top stars, gaining huge popularity and acceptance from the All Japan fans. Although he did reign once as the Triple Crown Champion, his main success came in tag matches, and he formed one of the greatest and most successful tag teams in history with Toshiaki Kawada, the two winning many championships. They were separated after the NOAH split, Kawada opting to stay with All Japan, while Taue followed all but two natives to form NOAH with Mitsuharu Misawa. Taue is currently part of a very successful tagteam with Takuma Sano. Although he has little speed, Taue's technique and style have contributed to some of the best matches ever seen, and he always displays the charm of professional wrestling.
