Profile:

Sugiura's very extensive and prolific amaresu background caught the eye of talent scouts, and he became the first ever dojo graduate in NOAH, debuting on the big 12/23/00 Tokyo Ariake Colosseum convention. He showed incredible progress in his rookie year, matching up to wrestlers far more experienced than he. In late 2003 Sugiura captured his first title, defeating Michael Modest for GHC Jr. Heavyweight Title. He was unable to hold onto it into the new year however, as he lost the belt to Jushin 'Thunder' Liger in January 2004. Sugiura was a founding member of the Dark Agents stable alongside Akitoshi Saito and Masao Inoue.
