    Profile:

Although he was seen as a big prospect in All Japan from day one, it wouldn't be until 1999 that Omori started gaining major success. It was then that he formed the immensely popular Team No Fear with Yoshihiro Takayama, the two earning a massive fan following and winning gold. During the 2000 Champion Carnival, he upset former tag partner, Jun Akiyama, in just 7 seconds, one of the quickest matches in history. When Misawa split from All Japan in mid-2000, Omori, along with all but two of All Japan's native wrestlers, followed Misawa's cause. He had a falling out with Takayama in mid-2002, No Fear splitting up. In February, 2002, after returning from an indefinite overseas excursion, Omori followed Takayama's path of declaring himself a freelancer, but unlike Takayama, Omori completely disassociated himself from NOAH. He aligned himself with Riki Choshu's World Japan, and began competing as a regular there. A charismatic big man, Omori utilizes the famous Axe Bomber strike as a finisher.
