Profile:

A former sumo star, Izumida debuted for All Japan at the age of 26 after being scouted by the company. He formed a team with Tamon Honda, the two enjoying a reign as All Asia Tag Team Champions. When Mitsuharu Misawa split from All Japan in mid-2000, Izumida, along with all but two of All Japan's native wrestlers, followed Misawa's cause. In NOAH, Izumida formed the Violence Bulldogs with his close friend, Akira Taue. A strong and stocky man, Izumida utilizes a range of power moves and fierce headbutts, including his deadly Meteorite, a unique version of a diving headbutt. After many attempts at convincing Jun Akiyama to let him join STERNNESS, Izumida was finally inducted as a member at the 11/13/2004 show.
