Profile: After spending much of his early career in W*ING, Akitoshi Saito joined New Japan, where he was part of Shiro Koshinaka's Heisei Ishingun group. He left New Japan in 1998, and in late 2000, after a couple of years of inactivity, he appeared in NOAH, along with former HI member, Masashi Aoyagi. In 2001, he began obtaining success like never before and became Jun Akiyama's second-in-command in STERNNESS, winning his first championship when he and Akiyama captured the GHC Tag Team Title in September, 2002. Now a high ranking wrestler in NOAH, Saito utilizes martial arts techniques, throwing deadly kicks and using a timed enzuigiri named the Sickle of Death as his finisher. Saito had a big 2004 where he formed the Dark Agents stable with Takashi Sugiura, Masao Inoue and later Shiro Koshinaka joining him as members of the stable. Saito also made an unsuccessful challenge for the GHC Heavyweight title in 2004.
