During an eventful "NAVIGATION AGAINST THE CURRENT 2002" tour in October, 2002, NOAH promoted a one night tournament featuring four six man tag teams. It would come down to rival factions, Burning and STERNNESS, to decide who the strongest trio on this day were.

Semi Final: Jun Akiyama, Akitoshi Saito & Makoto Hashi beat Mitsuharu Misawa, Yoshinari Ogawa & Kotaro Suzuki (20:58) when Hashi used the Gory Thunder on Suzuki.
