    A former sumo wrestler, Takeshi Rikio debuted shortly before the All Japan/Pro Wrestling NOAH split, following Mitsuharu Misawa to be part of NOAH's formation. Shortly after NOAH's debut, during the "NAVIGATION IN NOVEMBER 2000" tour, he faced NOAH's top five stars. Despite getting no wins, it was crucial experience for Rikio, who would make a fast ascent up the card over the next year.

    1. (11/4/00 @ Tokyo Differ Ariake): Kenta Kobashi beat Takeshi Rikio (9:54) with a Cobra Twist.
    2. (11/9/00 @ Chiba Park Gymnasium) Jun Akiyama beat Takeshi Rikio (13:37) with a front neck lock.
    3. (11/11/00 @ Kyoto KBS Hall) Vader beat Takeshi Rikio (3:45) with a chokeslam.
    4. (11/15/00 @ Tokyo Korakuen Hall) Akira Taue beat Takeshi Rikio (8:56) with a nodowa otoshi.
    5. (11/16/00 @ Tokyo Korakuen Hall) Mitsuharu Misawa beat Takeshi Rikio (10:46) with a running elbow smash.
